Funeral for Blanche Katherine Rainey, 87, of Decatur was to be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Monahans Cemetery in Monahans with Bill Gaston officiating.
Rainey died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, in Decatur. Born Dec. 2, 1920, in Hickory Plains, Ark., to Cooper and Thresea Gable Polk, she attended schools in Hickory Plains and was a member of the basketball team. She married H.M. "Buster" Rainey in April 1942 and moved to Monahans in 1950. She worked for Monahans-Wickett-Pyote school cafeterias from 1965 to 1986. She moved to Decatur in 1997. She gardened, sewed, cooked and was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Lorene Berry, and brother, Charles Polk.She is survived by her sons, W.H. and wife, Frances, of Decatur and Rickey and wife Jane of Arlington; sisters, Christine Welch of Beebe, Ark., Margaret Fromby of Pasadena and Lucille Smothers of Joliet, Ill.; brothers, Bud Polk and Gene Polk of Beebe; grandchildren, Tracey Rainey of Mesquite, Laurie Brandon of Carrollton, Robby Rainey of McKinney, Susan Rush of Charlotte, N.C., Kathy Kovar of Lubbock and Kara Rainey of Decatur; and six great-grandchildren.

Born Oct. 14, 1983, in San Anton De Los Martinez, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Angel and Josefina Huerta, he married Graciela Cruz Dec. 13, 2006, in Decatur. Born Dec. 28, 1947, in Kennard to Fletcher Scott and Iona (Ripley) Parks, she married Bill Read May 22, 1972, in Marietta, Okla. She was a homemaker.

Reed died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, in Conroe. Born June 3, 1923, to Clyde and Mabel Culp in Bowie, she spent most of her childhood in Decatur. She graduated from Decatur High School and Decatur Baptist College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph C. Reed; her daughter, Vivian Goodwin Wimberly; sister, Opal Davis; and the father of her children, Joe B. Goodwin. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Goodwin Easley and Melinda Goodwin McGowan; grandchildren, David C. Walker, Cara F. Kokel, Melissa L. Hanks, Robert (Bob) E. McGowan, Madeleine (Molly) M. Rhine died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008.Born Sept. 17, 1939, in Hobart, Okla., to Marvin and Helen (Stephenson) Ferguson, she married Walter Dan Rhine Jan. 22, 1955, in Gainesville. She began her banking career at Decatur Savings & Loan and retired from Legend Bank in Decatur as assistant cashier in 2005. She was a past secretary of the Wise County Youth Fair, past director of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Red Hat Society.She is survived by her husband; sons, Steven Rhine and wife, Marla, of Decatur and Curtis Rhine and wife, Sandra, of Lake Forest, Ill; grandchildren, Jody Rhine, Heathyr Brocket, Michael Rhine, Emily Rhine and Ethan Rhine; and a brother, Ronnie Forester of Fort Worth.Pallbearers were Don Stephens, Don Cassity, Joe Reppeto, Charles Cason, Walter Pac and Bennie King. He married Faye Tackett June 2, 1970, in Weatherford.He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.He is survived by his wife; sons, Michael Rhoudes of Boyd, Leon Rhoudes of Aquilla and Leonard Rhoudes and B.J. Funeral for James “Jim” R. Richards, 67, of Boyd will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation was to be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Richards died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, in Decatur.
Born July 2, 1940, in Mount Holly, Ark., to Iva and J. Roy Richards, he served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the Fort Worth school district for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Charles Richards of Fort Worth.
He is survived by his wife, Judie Richards; a son, Russell Richards; a daughter, Wendy Richards; his mother; two sisters, Martha Faye and Norma Jean, both of Alabama; two brothers, Don of Tennessee and Horace of Edinburg; a grandson, Russell James of Florida; a granddaughter, Aleena of Arizona; and a niece.

Richter died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Decatur.
Born Feb. 12, 1915, to Shelby F. and Virginia T. Fowler, she was a retired Decatur ISD secretary and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Richter, a brother and a sister.
She is survived by her sons, Terry Richter and wife, Sue, of Frisco and Dennis Richter and wife, Pat, of Marshall; grandchildren, Cheryl Hendrix, Jeff Richter, Kim Richter and Shonnie Graham; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ruth Olsen of McAllen; numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service was scheduled for Brig. Gen. Kyle L. Riddle, 94, of San Antonio, formerly of Decatur.
Riddle died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, in San Antonio.Born Dec. 19, 1913, he entered the U.S. Army Air Corps after graduating from Texas A&M University in 1937. He served as a command pilot and in various units for the U.S. Air Force before his retirement March 1, 1969.He is survived by his wife, Davilla St. Clair Riddle; three daughters, Christie Wilkins and husband, William, of Plano, Dinah S. Riddle of San Antonio and Davilla Harding and husband, Mark, of Star Harbor; a son, Kyle L. Riddle Jr. of Austin; and two granddaughters, Davilla E. Riddle and Alyssa Riddle.

Born June 8, 1936, in Fort Worth to Foy A. and Edith (Rickman) Riley, he was a retired foundry worker.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Riley.

Riley died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, in Dallas. Born Oct. 18, 1943, in Merced, Calif., to James K. Riley and Vera Posey Riley, he attended school at Permian High School in Odessa. He married Bonnie Drinkard July 15, 1965, in Odessa. He worked as a professional barber, heavy equipment operator and postal carrier. He was a member of Lane Baptist Church and worked puzzles and played hand games. He worked for the Boy Scouts and camped and hiked. Roberts died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, in Bridgeport. Born Aug. 1, 1937, to Carl and Colea Roberts at Willow Point, he was a mason with the Bridgeport Lodge for 40 years. He was an honorary member of the Joe Roughneck Club, fished, read, raised cattle and spent time with his grandchildren. Born June 6, 1942, in Gainesville, he was the former owner of Quality Oilfield Services and Patriot Liquid Services. He married Maurice Boaz June 16, 1962, in Whitesboro.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Jane Todd and husband Doug of Tuttle, Okla.; son, Fred Robeson Jr. and wife Michelle of Decatur; four grandchildren, Amber, Sarah, Michaela and Nathan Todd; mother, Nannie Branch of Collinsville; brother, Jackie Branch of Collinsville; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers were Bob Howard, Tommy Hale, Marcus Eubanks, Milton Dunlap, Kris Mowery, Jack Little, Doug Mitchell and Rodney Terrell.

Sensibaugh died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in Decatur.
Born Oct. 28, 1924, to Carl Lee and Sallye Bobo Christian in Decatur, she was the former owner and manager of Christian Funeral Home. She married Zack Sensibaugh on Dec, 6, 1944, in Decatur. The couple operated Christian Funeral Home until his death in 1970. Virginia managed the longtime family funeral home until 1980 when she sold it to the Hawkins family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Decatur
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Sensibaugh; and a sister, Maxine Inabnett.
She is survived by three daughters, Sally Engstrom and husband, Jim, of Ft. Spence died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in Bridgeport.
Born Oct. 6, 1925, to Ernest and Willie Mae Branscum she was an active member of her community. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Bridgeport. She served as the first female president of the Bridgeport chapter of AARP, was a gardener and former member of Bridgeport Garden Club, as well as serving as an ombudsman for nursing home residents. She was a licensed vocational nurse and had worked at the hospital in Decatur, served as a home health care nurse, and worked many years in Plainview and Lubbock.

Born Dec. 3, 1931, in Olustee, Okla. to Lawson Triplett and Lillie Mae Neely Triplett, he married June Dancer Aug. 28, 1950, in Altus, Okla. He joined the Department of Public Safety in 1957 and was stationed in Archer City for 17 years. After being promoting to sergeant, he was stationed in Texarkana, Decatur and Corsicana before retiring in 1992. He loved traveling, the outdoors, playing golf, fishing and playing bridge.
He is survived by his wife; children, Sandy McMurtry of Jacksonville, Kenny Triplett and wife, Tammy, of Gainesville and Lynn-Anne Longoria of McKinney; a brother, J.R. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1966, received the national Defense Service Medal for Marksmanship. He was a member of the Crafton and Alvord Volunteer Fire Departments and a Master Mason of the Riverside Lodge No. 1194.

Born July 20, 1942, in Arlington, she spent her childhood in Arlington. She married and had two children. She lived in Decatur for several years and was assistant manager of an abstract and title firm downtown.
She married Elmer Vogt Dec. 15, 1982, in Tucson, Ariz. They made their home in San Angelo where she was an office manager of an abstract and title firm. The couple played golf and purchased the College Hills Driving Range.
She was a volunteer with the local Democratic Party, was active in the Pioneer Club and other community activities.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Watson.
She is survived by her husband; her children, Bobby Hill of Austin and Sheree Crane of San Francisco; stepchildren, Dr. Mike Vogt of Boyd, Barbara Owens of Topeka, Kan., and Dr. Wes Vogt of Sunland Park, N.M.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral for Ronnie Kerr Willett, 68, of Bowie, was Thursday, Feb. 21 at East Side Baptist Church in Bowie with the Rev. Jamie Reed officiating. Interment was at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
Willett died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, in Plano.
Born Jan. 26, 1940, to Ocie and Vivian Willett, he married Doris Whitson March 15, 1960, in Bowie. He attended school in Bowie and lived there all of his life except when traveling with the oil field industry. He retired after 23 years with MND Drilling and had been employed by Patterson UPI Drilling Co. for the last eight years. He began working in the oil field when he was 14-years-old.
He was a member of the East Side Baptist Church.

Funeral for Audra Joseph "Bill" Williams, 91, of Corsicana was Sunday at the Lockhart Church of Christ.
Williams died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, in Corsicana.Born Dec. 18, 1916, in rural Dewey County outside of Leedey, Okla., to Samantha Neeley Bryan and Joseph Asa Williams, he worked as a cowboy in New Mexico and Texas on the Goodnight Ranch and in the fuel transport business. He married Dorothy Jane Feightner Sept. 18, 1941, after recovering from a fiery truck crash. They lived in Fort Worth and Decatur, where they owned and operated White Auto Store and Decatur Home Furnishings. In 1968, they moved to Lockhart where they opened a hardware store. He was a member of the Lockhart Church of Christ. Williamson died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in Decatur. Born Dec. 2, 1922, to Raymond Travis and Tempe (Barker) Williamson, he married Tommye Geneva Lane May 19, 1946, in San Angelo. He served in World War II and was an optometrist in Wise County for 38 years. He was a member of the Decatur Lions Club and the Decatur Country Club. He was a charter member and longtime elder of the Westworth Church of Christ in Fort Worth.He was preceded in death by his wife in 2004 and his brother, Alvis J. Willingham died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, in Kress.
Born Aug. 26, 1949, in Fort Worth to Orval and Erna Willingham, he graduated from Boyd High School in 1967 and earned a doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1975. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army veterinary corps before settling in Sulphur Springs where he was a mixed animal practitioner at Hopkins County Veterinary Clinic for 24 years. In 2002, he married Terry Chisholm and they moved to Plainview where he served as herd veterinarian for Dairy Fountain.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dr. Jackie Willingham.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Alexis Willingham Vaughn and husband, Joe, Kate Tsai and husband, Jason, and Callie Willingham; a granddaughter, Alyssa Tsai; parents; a sister, Judy Russell and husband, Robert; as well as nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to the Richard O. Willingham Scholarship Fund at Texas A&M University college of veterinary medicine.
