She was escorted by her father.
She was dressed traditionally in a white lace gown with train and flowing veil.
She carried white roses. Her wedding colors were white, navy and Tiffany blue.
Maid of honor was Sarah Alling of Decatur – the bride’s best friend, who
recently returned from Africa.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Courtney Guthrie and Candace Mahaffey;
cousin, Victoria Abruzzese; and friends Mathile Hornback, Katie Henderson and
Kelsey Lyle.
The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore long navy dresses, Tiffany blue heels and
carried bouquets of white roses and baby’s breath.
The best man was the groom’s brother, Justin McBride.
Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Mark Dowell, Braiden Beck, Harrison Hacker,
Tyler Wilson and Wes Vaughan; and brother Jared McBride.
Flower girl was Anderli Stanford, daughter of Scott and Amy Stanford of Decatur.
Ringbearer was Nicklas Curtis Guthrie, son of Brian and Courtney Guthrie of
Anna.
Usher Brian Guthrie escorted the bride’s mother. The wedding party also
consisted of usherettes Crystal Hernandez of Dallas and Capree Green of Decatur.
The reception was a dinner and dance at Decatur Civic Center hosted by the
bride’s parents.
Servers were the bride’s aunts, Bonnie Percy of Casper, Wyo., and Melanie
Abruzzese of Leander.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Galveston and live in Dallas.

Jim and Janice Paschall of Paradise celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary
May 26, 2016.
Jim married Janice Kolts May 25, 1956, in Everett, Wash. Jim and Janice met at a
roller rink, and it was love at first sight.
Their experiences together are many: from Jim bailing out of an airplane into
the Olympic National forest and thought lost for three days in their first year
of marriage, to two tours in Vietnam, five years living overseas and memorable
years traveling and living around the United States as a military family.
They have four children: Cindy Vosburgh and husband, Bob, of Paradise; Terry
Holland and husband, David, of Paradise; Bo Paschall and wife, Melinda, of
Garland; and David Paschall and wife, Chrys, of Paradise.
The couple also has 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Jim Paschall is retired from the U.S. Air Force and is a rancher. His wife is a
human engineer.
They live on a farm that’s been in Jim’s family for more than 100 years with
some of their children and grandchildren living there, too.

garden roses.
Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Cassie Benefield. Bridesmaids included
Mary Thames, Amy Miller, Courtney Davis, Lauren Kozar, Milan McKinney, Sydney
David, Emily Martine and Cadence Woodruff.
The bride’s attendants wore knee-length, navy satin dresses and carried white
hydrangeas.
The flower girl was Willow Dawn Woodruff, niece of the groom and daughter of
Bennett and Andrea Woodruff.
Scriptures were read by John Benefield, brother of the bride, and Leslie
Walther, sister of the groom.
Best man was David Talley. Groomsmen included Chris Cain, Garrett Autry, Blake
Smith, Ryan Peraino, Sam Groom, Drew Pett, Bennett Woodruff, Matt Walther and
Joshua David Woodruff.
The reception was held at Avalon Legacy Ranch and was given by the couple’s
parents.
The bride graduated from New Covenant Academy in 2011 and from the University of
North Texas summa cum laude in 2015. She works at UNT as an admissions
counselor.
The groom graduated from Decatur High School in 2011 and from UNT in 2014. He
works for Brinks Security as a systems analyst.

and Rocky Pryor of Decatur. The couple also have three deceased children: Terry
Pryor; Tommy Pryor; and Ray Pryor.
The Pryors have 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Pryor worked for BK Kennedy Trucking and Mrs. Pryor worked for a daycare and
IntegraCare.
He is a member of Bath Baptist Church and Mrs. Pryor is involved in the church

The Rev. Rusty Hedges of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving
officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory gown designed by Lela Rose. Her
soft, trumpet-shaped gown featured a filigree and crystal, hand-embroidered
tulle overlay and delicate illusion neckline.
The bride wore a cathedral-length veil designed by Homa Bridal. Her simple,
crystal drop earrings and a diamond necklace and bracelet were given to her by
the groom’s mother.
The bride carried a traditional hand-tied bouquet of dahlias, garden roses,
Queen Anne’s lace, ranunculus, hellebores, spray roses and jasmine vines in
shades of violet, blush and crimson.
The maid of honor was Taylor Herring of Laurel. Bridesmaids included: Brooke
Grant of Jackson, Miss.; Ashley Wine of Atlanta, Ga.; Megan Jacobs of Nashville,
Tenn.; and Chelsea Crane of Decatur.
Each bridesmaid wore a full-length, blue-gray chiffon gown by designer Jenny Yoo,
which they paired with a necklace given to them by the bride. They carried
bouquets similar to the bride’s, including spray roses, dahlias, Queen
Anne’s lace, ranunculus and jasmine vine.
Jase Reeves of Decatur was best man. Groomsmen included Caleb Allen of Katy,
Billy Benedict of Decatur, Justin Burke of Decatur, Zane Park of Decatur, Andrew
Aycock of Dallas, Stu Swanson of Southlake, Zach Brown of Lewisville and Adam
Trest of Laurel.
Ceremony music was provided by Fine Arts Ensemble string quartet.
The reception, given by the bride’s parents, was held at Stella Plantation.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Victoria House on Ambergris Caye in Belize.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and its law school. She
is an associate attorney with Cooper & Scully, P.C.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Mississippi as well as the Master
of Real Estate Program at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. He
is an assistant vice president with Frost Bank.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown with a sculptured lace yoke
over a sweetheart neckline. The gown had 3/4-length sleeves and a sheer backline
that buttoned with tiny pearl buttons. It also featured a dropped basque waist
and gathered skirt with lace applique.
The full-length gown tied at the waist with a tiny Swarowski crystal belt.
The ivory-tulle veil with lace trim fell to mid-waist. The veil was held in
place with a pearl-covered comb.
The bride carried a bouquet of blush colored roses, cream hydrangeas and sage.
She wore blue shoes.
The maid of honor was the bride’s best friend, Chelsea Drescher of Plano.
Bridesmaids included: the bride’s sister, Sarah Travis, of Denton; the
groom’s sister Kyndrae Stokes of Dallas; friend Angela Jones of Dallas; friend
Megan Reeves of Carrollton; and friend Katie Maston of Plano.
Each attendant wore a grey chiffon gown with sheer straps, a keyhole back and
sweetheart neckline. The dress featured a floor-length shirred skirt. All the
bridesmaids wore navy shoes and carried a bouquet of blush roses and cream
hydrangeas, accented with sage and navy ribbons.
The flower girl was Katie Bordelon, and the ring bearer was Matthew Bordelon,
children of groomsman Brad Bordelon and wife, Angela, of Trophy Club.
The best man was the groom’s best friend from high school, Dusty Reeves of
Illinois. The groomsmen were Jay Stokes of Dallas, uncle of the groom; Dan
Travis of Dallas, brother of the bride; Brad Bordelon of Trophy Club; Rick
Sierra of Plano; and Jared Cole of Plano.
Tyrus Travis of Denton, brother of the bride, was usher.
Guestbook attendant was cousin Makayla McKee of Illinois.
Scott Smith of Saginaw was the guitarist. He’s a friend of the bride and
groom. The bride walked down the aisle to “Marry Me” by Train. Smith
accompanied a friend of the bride and groom, who sang “Make You Feel my
Love.”
The reception, hosted by the bride and groom, followed the ceremony at MD Resort
Party Barn.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Barcelona, Spain.

Ron Johnson officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a tulle A-line gown with a lace illusion neckline and a
chapel-length train. Her veil was lace edged, mid-length and topped with a
lace-embroidered hairpiece.
She carried a free-flowing mixture of blush and ivory garden roses, tea roses
and pink heather leaves wrapped with ivory lace.
She was escorted by her father.
Her matron of honor was Wendi Lamar. Bridesmaids were Courtney Molinar, Alisha
Davis, Aphton Lane, Lacy Cocanougher, Jessica Cowan and Jessica Williams. Junior
bridesmaid was Morgan Cowan.
The flower girl was Emery Joyce, daughter of Mike and Brooke Joyce, of
Winston-Salem, N.C.
The bride’s attendants wore floor-lenth, one-shoulder, blush Vera Wang dresses
and carried a mixture of blush and ivory garden roses, blush and ivory tea roses
and pink heather wrapped in lace.
The best man was Shane Freeman. Groomsmen were Kevin Kolb, Lewis Bullion, Ryan
Dretke, Gabe Cocanougher, Phillip Daugherty and Ryan Sessions.
Ushers were Cole Pettit, Luke Schuman and John Schuman.
The ringbearer was Hudson Cocanougher, son of Gabe and Lacy Cocanougher.
The newlyweds’ parents hosted a reception at Decatur Civic Center.
Guestbook attendents were Taylor Uselton and Kristen Pettit. Servers were Stormi
Leonard, Rylie Burden, Morgan Haney, Savannah Bearden, Breannan Quinton and
Haley Dennard.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The bride graduated from Decatur High School and Tarleton State University. She
works for Bridgeport ISD.
The groom also graduated from DHS and Sam Houston State University. He works for
Legend Bank.
The couple plans to make their home in Decatur.
