Wayne married Virginia Galttana June 21, 1963, in Boyd.

The groom’s mother, Patti Mahaffey, of Paradise United Methodist Church
officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mickey and Judy Reid of Rhome.
The groom is the son of Mark and Pam Moreland of Aurora and Patti and Rodney
Mahaffey of Decatur.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a slim, strapless, A-line Maggie Sottero
gown that featured a sweetheart neckline, corset closure and a hand-beaded belt
of crystals.
Maid of honor was Amanda Brake of Fort Worth. Bridesmaid was Lauren Mullens of
Boyd.
They wore short, one-shoulder, satin dresses in plum.
Best man was Mark Moreland II, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Jared
Flanagan.
A small cake and champagne reception followed the ceremony. A celebration with
family and friends was held June 1 at the Lonesome Spur in Justin.
Following a wedding trip around Jamaica, Grand Cayman island and Cozumel,
Mexico, the couple live in Rhome.

Arlon and the former Bobbie Martin were married Feb. 7, 1953, in Fort Worth.
Their children and their spouses are Audie and Lynn Morris, Bettie and Mark
German and Peggy and Russell Black, all of Chico. They have five grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Arlon is a farmer and rancher and a 50-year member of Chico Masonic Lodge 508.
Bobbie works with him on their farm and is a member of Chico Chapter No. 433 of
Order of the Eastern Star.
Both are members of Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico.

Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Susan Jordan of Decatur.
The groom is the son of Michael Morse of Fayetteville, Ark., and Earline Morse
of Houston.

Fayetteville and Edwina Popek of Houston.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Fort Worth.
The bride is a graduate of Decatur High School, Texas A&M University and
Texas A&M School of Medicine and will complete obstetrics and gynecology
residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in June. Dr. Morse will
start her medical practice at Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury in
August.
The groom graduated from Lamar High School in Houston, University of Arkansas
and University of Arkansas School of Medical Sciences. Dr. Morse will complete
obstetrics and gynecology residency at John Peter Smith in 2015.

The groom is the son of Gary and Gina Norvell of Crane.
Escorted by her brother, Tony Wilks of San Antonio, the bride wore a white satin
A-line strapless gown embellished with embroidered beadwork. Royal blue accented
beadwork trimmed the top of the bodice and the court train. The bride chose not
to wear a headpiece.
She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, roses, wisteria and Easter lilies
accented with royal blue and yellow roses.
Matron of honor was Dee Romine. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Evans, Silver Oneal,
Shaylyn Evans and Ashley Norvell.
They wore royal blue, knee-length, A-line dresses of chiffon and satin and
open-toed sandal pumps dyed warm yellow. They carried bouquets of yellow roses.
Flower girl was Avery Wilks, daughter of Tara and Tony Wilks.
Ringbearer was Jeren McDonald, son of Crysti and Tre McDonald.
Best man was Paul Beaver. Groomsmen were Mike Romine, Brian Beaver, Jarod Brown

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory trumpet gown of beaded lace that
featured a sweetheart neckline and a sweep train. She also wore a two-tier veil
and headband, each embellished with beads and pearls; ivory satin pumps with
glitter heels; a pearl necklace borrowed from her aunt and vintage-style pearl
earrings.
She carried a cascading bouquet of red and white roses accented with English ivy
and baby’s breath.
Matron of honor was Nicole Kirkeby, college friend, of Kansas City, Kan.
Bridesmaids included Ashley Perez, sister-in-law of the groom, Mysty Langston,
friend of the bride, and Brittany Fuller, sister of the groom, all of Corpus
Christi; and Leslieann Hoyl, cousin of the bride, of Decatur.
They wore vintage-inspired, satin, tea-length dresses in apple red, with
champagne bolero jackets and apple red peep-toed pumps. They carried bouquets of
red roses and baby’s breath.

Ringbearer was Preston Fuller, son of Danial and Brittany Fuller and nephew of
the groom.

Following a wedding trip to Austin and San Antonio and a cruise planned for
after Christmas, the couple live in Corpus Christi.
The bride graduated from Decatur High School in 2005 and attended Friends
University in Wichita, Kan., for two years. She is studying court reporting at
Del Mar College in Corpus Christi.
The groom also graduated from Decatur High in 2005. He works as a cook and shift
manager for MWR, contractor to the Officer’s Club at the Corpus Christi Naval
Air Station.

The bride wore a white satin, A-line gown that featured an off-the-shoulder
neckline and side-draped bodice. A white-satin sash with beaded embellishment
accented the chapel train, and she also wore a single-tier veil with beading and
floral edging.
Maid of honor was Piper Riley, sister of the bride, of Santa Monica, Calif.
The bride attends the University of North Texas, where she is a member of Phi
Theta Kappa, Tau Sigma and Alpha Chi honor societies and is on the President’s

The groom attended North Central Texas College and has worked for Weatherford
International for seven years.
The couple will be the sixth generation to continuously ranch the land settled

Wayne married the former Wanda Pleasant July 20, 1963, in Decatur.

Stone and wife, Regina, of Decatur; and four grandchildren – Brandon, Alissa,
Jacie and Julie.
Wayne retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin. Wanda is a retired speech
therapist.

2013, at 5 p.m. at Treasure Sands Club in Treasure Cay, Abaco Bahamas.

The bride’s parents, Karl and Kim Klement, hosted an intimate five-day
celebratory affair honoring the couple where local fare and tradition were
infused into the events giving guests a full Bahamian experience.
Beginning Wednesday before the ceremony, an island-themed dinner of barbeque and
peas’n'rice was served at The Burner restaurant. On Thursday all guests were
greeted to a welcome reception at Coco Beach Bar. The menu was pizza with a
specialty on the side of fresh conch salad made by Kirk “The Conch Man.”
With the Sea of Abaco as the backdrop, guests enjoyed a beach bonfire and
special performance from a local Junkanoo marching band. The Junkanoo parade
lasted for a half-hour, engaging guests in the traditional dance.
The rehearsal dinner on Friday was hosted by the groom and served at The
Spinnaker restaurant, with a menu of minced lobster and baked chicken along with
various starters, sides and desserts.
On Saturday, the ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Stafford Symonette and was
held beachside under a covered canopy. The bride was escorted down the aisle by
her father to the traditional “Wedding March in C Major” played by violinist
Jennifer Hudson. Later Mrs. Hudson played “Ave Maria” during the unity sand
custom.
Kody Klement, brother of the bride, and Ryan Strom, brother of the groom, served
as witnesses for the couple.
The bride’s parents hosted a cocktail hour and seated dinner reception at
Treasure Sands Club following the ceremony. The dinner, a six-course meal
prepared by Chef Antonio Huyler, consisted of citrus-poached shrimp, mushroom
bisque, garden salad, mango sorbet intermezzo, hog fish, grass-fed Argentinian
filet with chocolate mousse and a three-tiered Italian buttercream wedding cake
for dessert.
The bride is the daughter of Karl and Kim Kle-ment of Decatur, and the
granddaughter of Mildred Tredenick and the late Robert Tredenick of Gainesville,
and Edna Klement and the late Martin Klement of Muenster. The groom is the son
of Dan and Athena Strom of Lake Dallas. He is the grandson of Jimmie Hammond and
the late Gene Hammond of Dallas, and the late Ervin and Myra Strom of Dallas.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory silk organza Jim Helm
gown. The gown featured a sleeveless, alencon lace bodice with a v-neckline and
open back and was accompanied by a blusher. The bride carried a hand-tied
bouquet of calla lilies while the groom wore a calla lily boutonniere.
The bride wears an antique diamond set in a rose gold band custom-designed by
the groom. The groom wears a family heirloom ring which belonged to his late
grandfather, Gene Hammond.
A firework display was held immediately following the dinner. The
five-and-a-half minute show was choreographed to Elton John’s “Don’t Let
the Sun Go Down on Me.” The bride and groom danced to Adele’s cover of The
Cure’s “Lovesong.” The bride and her father danced to “What a Wonderful
World” by Louis Armstrong.
Sunday, guests were ferried to a neighboring island, Guana Cay, for a day of fun
at Nipper’s Bar and Grill.
The bride is a graduate of Decatur High School and graduated from Southern
Methodist University in Dallas with a bachelor of business administration in
finance and a minor in psychology.
The groom is a graduate of Liberty Christian in Argyle, and earned a bachelor of
science in economics from the University of North Texas.
Following their week-long honeymoon in St. Kitts and Nevis, the bride and groom
reside in Fort Worth.
