It has been said that John Richard Cates I was a Captain in the Texas Rangers. He was suppose to have served under "Muster Roll" Captain J J Cureton's company- Frontier Regimentof Texas Volunteers 1861. We are currently trying to get proof on this.


Cass and Isaac Williams were both brothers and both ministers of the Church of Christ.
